Would have been a 5* rating, as A-Plan generally listen to their customers. I was negotiating a renewal with a lady staff member who was giving me the hard-sell. Having been a customer for 30+ years with a number of covers (cars and home insurance) I was expecting some leeway. I pondered my offer for 24 hours and then called back, but got through instead to a gentleman staff member answering from another branch who thankfully spotted a slightly better offer, which I then took. Had I have taken the ‘non-negotiable’ offer the previous day, I would have paid an unnecessarily higher price. I don’t understand how some staff can find better offers, it seems inconsistent.

I needed to insure on a new car and the agent Ash was able to get me a good deal on a new policy. Much less expensive than my current insurers. The only problem was my old insurer Ageus did not give me a rebate on what was left on the policy. Good service from A-Plan.

These days much is said and written about loyalty and the need to shop around to get the best deal. Fortunately I do not have to do this, it is done for me! However being slightly sceptical I have always questioned any proposal and have tried to better it on line. Thus far I have been unsuccessful. On the occasions when they have not been able to find the right policy for me they have invariably pointed me in the right direction.

Great service and an unbelievable price. If you have a modified car you must get a quote from this company, I saved £600, that was a 45% difference from the the next cheapest quote. Happy Days.
