Because of the pandemic I had to phone A-Plan insurance to renew my policy the phone rang and a very happy voice and a welcome to me. The service I got was brilliant everything was carefully explained to me. They went out of there way to find the best policy nothing was to much trouble. Just a brilliant service.

Phone call from Aplan I either agree or try and get them to try to lower there quotation it normally works either way I’m satisfied if it’s reasonable low there a good company that can be trusted I’ve never had any problems.

Was given A-Plan's contact number by a large insurance group which would not provide the type of buildings insurance I wanted. Was pretty miffed by that point having passed an hour filling in details on price comparison sites and was wishing for a return to the old days of human, instead of AI, insurance brokers as each 'reasonable' quote on the sites demanded a telephone call to establish finer details of the policy offered. Having then negotiated the endless telephone options and endured the 'Your call is important' (but we don't employ sufficient staff) without exception, all companies were only interested in bog standard insurance, not a mortgage free, unoccupied house. Finally, received A-Plan's number and found myself quickly talking to a personable, helpful, agent who knew his stuff and offered a policy that exactly matched what I wanted and this knowledgeable agent went further, giving additional quotations for changes I may wish to make in the future. With renewal required recently, a call to A-Plan resulted in a reduced premium which made both of us laugh and the whole process was completed in five minutes without any of the price comparison site irritations. The follow up paper work was completed almost immediately with downloads to check and agree and hard copies arriving within the week, if desired. Helpful, efficient and competitive - all without the blood pressure raising DIY element of comparison sites. Should fellow residents in my small building ever wish to buy our freehold, I'll be insisting we set A-Plan on our insurance needs first.
