It took an inordinate amount of time to resolve driver/usage issues with the new provider. My emails were often ignored by the handler (Alice) and I had to continually chase the broker to get a response and a resolution. Only when I managed to speak with Duncan almost a week after the renewal date was the query finally resolved. I'm dreading ever having to submit a claim! Shame, because the service up until now has been very good.

Each of the staff we spoke, either over the phone or in person, with were helpful, kind and considerate. I was told initially that the renewal price had gone up because I had informed the company that I may need to claim, even though no claim was made. The next day I was told it was because the previous year had been discounted as I was new.

I have just renewed my car and house insurances for the third year in a row and had no problems. Dealing with them and especially Thomas Houlding, who was very helpful, made it so much easier and takes all the pressure of having to search online, as they do it all for you.
