Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable; out of the 5 companies I called for insurance on my Transporter, Howden's were by far the best out of all of them.

So nice to talk to people who genuinely have the time to talk to you and not push a sale onto you. Never was I felt rushed to make decisions and also felt Keely went out of her way to find me the right insurance at the price that I was happy with. Car and van insurance renewal is a nightmare and turning into a racket in my opinion where you are as good as being forced to pay megabucks just to drive around. More annoyingly it feels we are being punished for the idiots out there who steal cars, drive without insurance and reckless drivers! But now I have spoken to Keely at Howdens I will definitely be getting back in touch when my other vehicle is due and to renew my van next year. Thank you Keely (Houslin)

A general experience was very good lady on the phone was very accommodating and very clear. Went ahead with my insurance and had it explained to me that I would need to show my no claims proof within one week.
Sadly spent the last couple of days contacting them being passed around different agents. All I wanted to know was an email address to forward these details on to spoke to them on three different occasions yesterday and was promised someone would come back to me but they didn’t.
Getting a little worried now that the longer this goes on they will then be stuck in my insurance or sending me a bill. I’ve tried emailing them from their contact page and I still never heard anything.
Such a shame as they were doing so well .

After a recent non fault accident I called Howden and spoke with a member of their team, I was dealt with swiftly and professionally and this is why I use them. The team member was Paige Feldon she was very helpful.

Luckily enough to live near to a Howden office, so I popped in on the off chance for a quote on a campervan conversation.
No issue and was seen by someone from the team upstairs who went though the quote very thoroughly and I was happy.
Slightly more than other quotes but the convince of seeing a person and having a office near by swayed it for me.
Did have an issue with logging into the online portal but was sorted.
So far so good, but its when you have an issue you really see what a company is like.

I decided to visit the Howden shop in Swindon because they still have a high-street shop, unlike my previous insurers. They did indeed get mee a better quote and dealt very well of the issue of whether or not to include a second named driver on the policy.
