Have been with A Plan for many, many years for car and household insurance and are generally very pleased with them. The family also insure their cars with A Plan.
My only real complaint is the annual administration or handling fee of approx £40.00/ policy. I wouldn't mind so much if the details of these policies changed each year, but they don't. A moan each year brings the cost down by £10.00, but it really annoys me that for just changing the date on the policies I am being asked to pay £40.00 each and every time. I know I could vote with my feet but that is not the point.

The service provided by A Plan was, as ever excellent and professional. There was no pressure to purchase extras which I did not require. I have been a customer of the company since 1987 and have considered alternatives during this time but the level of expertise offered by A Plan is a compelling reason to remain.

Just signed up for a young drivers insurance policy through APLAN in Oxford. Recommended by my local APLAN branch as being specialist office for young drivers.
