a bit of confusion over who looks after specialist cars...
each branch has its own ideas about who should be doing what?
eventually i went with Thatcham branch as they are the specialist car branch and was then told by Peterborough (my local branch who i first contacted) could have got me the same deals.
so i am still a little confused as to who i should have gone with. maybe next year when the quotes come through i will ring some other company's as well.
However, quote was fairly cheap, cover seems to be good, and they seem easy to contact and understand what the car is (in Thatcham).

I decided to buy car insurance from A plan 3 years ago and I've been with them since because of their excellent and friendly service and reasonable quotes and insurance. Unlike other insurance companies, they haven't quoted me over the odds after being with them a year. Also unlike other insurance companies it's possible to have a face to face conversation with them and even if you need to phone, you won't end up in a queue. I would definitely recommend!

Well, what a relaxing conversation I have just had, thanks to Simon Terry for his clear explanation about the services that met my needs, he seems to be or is the most experienced Call Handler/Representative I have spoken to in many years, as he was clear in his description of what I wanted and he listened to my every word, and he spoke at a speed which I clearly understood from start to finish. I thought these days were over and this sort of individual professionalism was no longer, as it seems that you can no longer understand want call handlers or representatives are saying any more as they are only to keen to get a sale and move on to the next possible client. There is lesson to be learned here by this guy and an asset to the company he works for. Top marks for you kind sir đź‘Ť. I hope his experience is used as a guide for all and hope that my comments do not fall on deaf ears in his supervisors in-tray.
