I went online to the comparison sites to obtain insurance quotes for a van I'd bought as a second vehicle for personal use. As soon as the quotes came up on the screen the phone rang and it was someone asking me if I wanted to talk to a different insurer for a possible better price. Having time to spare, I agreed and although their first quote was higher than the lowest online quote, they came back with one just a few pounds higher than online. As they were so charming and helpful and as they operate from the high street and not from a call centre, I signed up with A Plan.

They were able to help me when none of the online insurers could quote for cover. Refreshing to deal with a human rather than an algorithm and the price wasn’t bad either.
