I have several policies with A Plan and asked for a quote for insurance if 1 of the terms was changed, I also enquired about a new policy quote. Phoning back later in the day neither of my requests had been looked into and the clerk pushed for my payment details on a policy I wanted to look at further.

The original quotation seemed excessive to me as I could get similar cover elsewhere at a much cheaper rate. When I met in store with the APlan representative we were able to review the matters of fact, address some discrepancies and arrive at a satisfactory solution that resulted in my staying with APlan

Alan Tushchick dealt promptly and professionally with me when my policy was to be renewed. He asked various questions about my mileage and also asked if I would ever take my car to Europe. When I said “definitely not!”, he said he could deduct an amount thereby reducing the amount I would pay. So I was grateful for his thoroughness . This is the first time I was made aware that there was an extra charge on my policy to cover me should I ever take my car to Europe . I wondered if I had been paying this extra amount in previous years!
