I have been an A-Plan customer for about 8 years now, and they continue to impress me. Their policies are not always the cheapest, but their advice and cover is always the best for my needs. I have come to trust them completely, and hugely value the rarid, no-nonsense way they deal with policy renewal, difficulties and claims. I recently had a need to claim for some high value items following a theft. They dealt with everything and I didnt even need to fill in a form. The insurer actually increased the value of my claim to ensure that I was able to replace like for like. Totally painless. Cant recommend these guys enough, particularly Lottie and Archie at the Guildford branch. Truly awesome value, reliability and service

This was a renewal policy. They rang me. Checked that no key data had changed. Presented me with a reviewed policy. There was a price reduction in the policy so I asked them to proceed and it was all straight forward. Service as it should be.

On first visit, I met April Bree to enquire about second-home insurance for our daughter presently resident in USA. April was unable to arrange cover but referred me to another agency who specialise in this area and they were able to arrange cover. On the basis of my experience with A-Plan, I called in a few days later after receiving renewal notice from Lloyds Bank Insurance Services who I have used for many years. April not available but met with Ryan Hawley who was very helpful and extremely courteous. After a relatively short discussion, Ryan produced a quote (for identical cover) of £234, compared with £664 from Lloyds. A great saving - thank you Ryan!

We have just renewed our policy, the price remained similar to last year and seems fair and comprehensive. We haven't had to make a claim, so don't know how the policy and company would perform in that situation.
