As with ALL insurance companies I got the email / phone call explaining my insurance was due for renewal and they'd shopped around and got a good deal for me. As always it was higher than the previous year and as always I said it was too high and I'd shop around and then they came back to me with a new quote almost (pennies difference) the same as the previous year. They are no different than any other insurance company when it comes to a new quote, but why not just start low than have to negotiate with them to get it lower? Frustrating.

In the past I have spent time trying to find a good deal on car insurance. However, A-plan Gloucester do this a lot better! Not only do they find me a good deal but they save me a lot of time and hassle. The service they provide is efficient and professional. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

My expectations were surpassed by the superb service I received in the Sevenoaks Branch. The people I dealt with, particularly the "new business" lady with whom I had the most contact, were professional, knowledgeable, prompt, efficient and friendly. Everything was done as promised - calls returned at specified times, for example, and my requirements carefully acknowledged. The home insurance I ended up with was a better policy than my previous insurer was offering, and the premium was almost halved! A-Plan certainly has the personal touch - no anonymous call centre. I have left my details for car and travel insurance renewal, and told friends and family of my experience. Heartily recommended.
