They were easy to contact and to deal with. The main downside was the cost of motor insurance.
Our new vehicle is a US pickup and we had unusual hassle trying to get cover.
I have another 2 similar pickups with Admiral but for some reason, although these 2 other pickups are only 3 years old, Admiral say that the only cover such vehicles more than 12 years old.
We also have cover with APlan for two boats and we haven’t had any issues with them. Again quite expensive.

A-Plan Insurance have been so helpful over the last couple of years I’ve used them. They got my car insurance premium down initially and it only increased by a few pounds this year. They tried very hard to get a better quote for my house insurance but were unable to do so as I’d had a claim for subsidence recently.
Staff are very knowledgeable and really try to do their best to get the best deal they can.
