I got a quote for motor insurance a month too early. They remembered to contact me when the time was right. Incidentally it cost £200 less than the previous fee.

The staff member I talked with over the phone was helpful, quick and informative. His manner was business like too.
My only small criticism was that he wanted my answer to whether I would go forward or not with the policy without me giving it some 48 hrs thought.

So far, so good. Setting up a new policy was straight forward enough. I chose Howden's because of good customer service reviews. I have not needed to put it to the test as yet. Will see how the first year goes if the need arises. If I'm happy I will renew next year.
