The customer service was great, but I was sort of held over a barrell to stay with them rather than to be able to go for a cheaper policy with another company. I had to cancel my company van insurance to sell the van to save my business, times are hard! I got charged £290 to cancel. Was told I would loose my whole full no claims if I insured the cheap run around car with someone else to be able to transfer my no claims from the van to the car, so no choice of paying £200 per year more than the quotes I had received from other companies.

A-Plan just take away the hassle. Very few of my cars appear in the drop down boxes of the usual suspects making it a very frustrating, time consuming business. A-Plan have a named individual that takes the information, does the leg work and comes up with a (usually) competitive price often including some cool extras (this time great breakdown cover). I like people that solve problems 💯/💯for effort and service.

After 13 years with another company I am so Glad I went with A-plan.
not only can you speak to someone immediately (it took me 3 days to cancel my insurance with my previous company), the effort that A-plan took to ensure the right cover at an amazing price was wonderful.
being the kind of person who actually reads all the small print , I had a couple of questions when the policy arrived, these were dealt with by one simple phone call.
also you don't get the hard sell with A-Plan, there is just one insurance I have that they cant beat, and they are open and honest about that. They even gave me information which was very helpful.
