House insurance renewal date looming … Contacted A-Plan as currently look after family business insurance and my personal car and travel insurance. Shelly called me at a pre arranged time and after all the questions were answered said would call back in 20 minutes which he did .I think in 18 … . went through quotes in detail answered all my questions t&c’s stated .. and very smoothly the policy was in place .. of course I was looking to reduce my current insurance company quote, but it came out as a match price wise , (a bit more if including an extra cover I was offered and added) but I did realise that cove quoted by Shelly is a much better valued product .. so thank you.. it’s great dealing with a company/Shelly in person rather than web sites where you can only deal in Yes and No situations and there is never a Maybe that is possible .. solution .. thank you again .. In June 2014 we discovered a water leak at our property and made an insurance claim. In September 2022 the issue was finally resolved. Throughout the eight years of this claim, we have been extremely fortunate that we had insured our property using A-plan as brokers.
Benjamin Lewis, from the Poole branch, has worked tirelessly on our behalf. He has been friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient as well as being meticulous in his record keeping.
Delays were caused by poor communication between the loss adjuster and the contractors, inefficient management on the part of the contractors and the Covid pandemic.
We were so pleased that we had used A-plan and were able to call upon Benjamin’s reassuring presence without which we believe the claim would still be on-going.

Overall a very quick, helpful and understanding of our needs and requirements. I had considered moving to another broker but due to Birinder who is based in the Tooting branch being very accommodating and keen to keep our business I chose to remain where I was.

This is my second year with A plan, i chose A plan because they insure camper vans under construction which is hard to find so to marksfor that.
Not had to make any claims so can't comment on that side.
Customer services is good they answer quick enough, they are helpful and polite (rare these days).

When I visited the A-Plan Insurance shop I found the staff very professional and they guided me to the best value motor insurance which was a lot better than my previous one and a bit more reasonable cost wise. My husband sorted out my Insurance and said that Ruth was very helpful, she gave a competitive quote which I agreed to take. The only downside was that he accepted it e-mailed to me but was not aware of just how many sheets of paper there was to print off. Next time I will have it posted to me.
