doing car insurance the old fashioned way, locally with real people - who'd have thunk that someone who does everything online would do it - perfect and easy and they beat the 30% higher online renewal quote hands down when my existing company wouldn't budge on the new price or explain why they were quoting to charge me 30% more this year

Aplan were recommended to me for specialized van insurance. They have specialized insurance branch in Thatcham, which is local to me. When I visited them they were really helpfull and had lots of advice for finding the best insurer. More than happy with the policy I ended up going with. Jack Streat the adviser who dealt with me was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
Normally I would scour the internet for the best deals, this was a much more relaxed way to do that.
Will be considering them for all insurance needs in future.

It's the first time we have used A-Plan and can highly recommend. The agent who handled our car insurance renewal was most knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. He secured a better policy with a well-known car insurance company at a significantly better rate than our existing policy. This being achieved at a time when most car insurance companies are significantly increasing renewal premiums. We will be contacting A-Plan when our house insurance comes up for renewal.
