Been with A-Plan for quite a few years now -over years the free admin charges, free emergency cover have gone and last couple of years have quoted the same Company cover -feel as a old customer they are not trying so much

Called the Motorhome Insurer …was put through to Louise and Peter at A-Plan Insurance.
Peter called a few days later to see whether the quote was where it needed to be.
I promised to call Peter back as I was still waiting on one quote from Saga.
That’s another story or “Saga” as I’m still waiting !

It was quick to get through on the phone and the agent I spoke to was easy to hear and understand. We went through questions about cover and risk relating to the Campervan policy I needed, and I got a good price. I was also confident that I would the proper cover for my Campervan. Price is not all, especially if gaps exist that never become clear util you have to claim - I was confident I got the right cover.

Very helpful and patient. Made renewing my insurance a pleasant experience whereas it has often been very difficult with other agencies.
I haven't had to make a claim so cannot comment on that aspect.

They contacted me well before my house insurance expired and offered to discuss offers over the phone. I hate the telephone, so asked them to send me the various policy options by email. They did that, and then phoned me back around two weeks later -- just over a week before the current policy expired. I had decided what I wanted, and the rep from A Plan went through everything very carefully. The rep was Catherine Smith in the Tooting Office. I renewed and paid during that call. Very happy, trouble-free experience.
