My existing insurer (Zurich) informed me they were not providing cover for me after 16 years. They suggested A Plan who were awarded 5 stars for great service in 2022. So I contacted them for a quote, they were not the cheapest but I was impressed by the way everything was explained and decided to choose A Plan insurance based on my experience (I was a financial adviser for over 30 years until retiring in 2020) so I joined them without any doubts, so looking forward to a relationship with our new insurer.

Today I was able to speak to real person and not spend hours trawling various companies for car insurance. The young lady in question Natalie could not have been more helpful. She took all the details and explained due to Easter backlog it may be tomorrow before she could complete the search for me.Within 30minutes she called me back and was able to get the replacement vehicle covered fully comprehensive at the same price as old car.Thank.you NATALIE. I thought the uplift in cost over previous year was too high, especially as it was another year of no claiming.
Do not offer penalty free insurance if involved in an accident where you were found at no fault.
Payment taken on date of call without for warning, should be taken as new insurance comes into action not 3 weeks earlier.

You can have a face to face meeting to discuss the insurance. they were able to speak to the insurance company to sort out some anomalies, where as if you do it on line via a comparison site you only have the option of filling out their form.
