Rugby Borough Council’s SMART and Play Ranger activities will give your children plenty to do this Easter. There will be a variety of choices from sports-specific coaching, to Art Gallery and Museum workshops, and also free-of-charge Play Ranger sessions throughout the borough.

Leam Valley Golf Centre is offering an introduction to golf, using their driving range and par 3 course to practice skills such as chipping, driving and putting.

In the second week of the holiday break, Rugby Table Tennis Club and Long Buckby Archery Club are offering taster sessions based at Lawrence Sheriff School in the Griffin Sports Centre. Sports sessions will need to be booked.

The Play Rangers will be out and about offering free turn-up-and-play opportunities in the borough’s parks. Activities such arts and crafts, multisports and circus skills amongst others are all available. The play sessions cater for children aged 5 to 13, but other siblings are always welcome (under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult).

The Rugby Art Gallery and Museum will also run drop-in, sessions based on site including an Easter Chick Hunt, Magical Jar Art and Paint and Glaze. With something to do every day of the holidays (excluding Bank Holidays), there is something for everyone between Monday 25 March and Friday 5 April.
