The Dysart Arms in Petersham have created some lovely menus and dishes with flavours and scents redolent of the Christmas season and with some very special and indulgent ingredients, local and from further afield:
- from local ceps and chestnuts to new season Burgundy truffles and black Périgord truffles steeped by us specially for Christmas for over a year in Madeira or Port.
- from local wild apples, deep, rich cordials made with local rosehips and elderberries, golden marjoram, winter chanterelles, to goose, mallard, Suffolk Bronze turkey, Longhorn beef, venison, partridge, wild boar and wild halibut,
- from brioche Christmas pudding, Winter spiced jelly, muscovado sugar, marzipan, prunes and Armagnac, to our rich Valrhona chocolates and petits fours
- with Seasonal vegetarian menus to please.
We have some wonderful champagnes and sparkling wines, have matched some equally lovely wines to our Season’s dishes and have some great background music from our pianists on our grand piano and from our classical guitarists from Thursday to Saturday evenings throughout December and into the New Year.
We look forward to giving you a warm welcome, whether downstairs in the main restaurant and bar, or to the private dining and meeting rooms upstairs, or, as many do, to a combination of both, for pleasure and business.
