Bedroom Makeover

We recently had the challenge of turning a bright red Arsenal boys bedroom into a guest bedroom that also needed to function as a study.

The room was small so we chose a serene white colour scheme to bring a sense of light and space. We added shades of grey to bring interest and elegance.

To maximise space and function of the room we selected a white day bed from Maison and dressed it with a selection of wool and linen cushions.

We chose a beautiful statement mirror which added a sense of space, and sourced a small antique bureau which fitted perfectly into an alcove. We felt it was particularly important in a small space to ensure we selected pieces which offered both function as well as beauty.

We crowned the room with a French glass beaded chandelier that cast a beautiful patterned light over the white space.

“Angela and Mel helped us turn our son’s old room into a peaceful, simple white guest bedroom. A completely different style to the modern teenagers room, this room is beautiful with a wonderful day bed, antique grey/white furniture and mirror. They have transformed a small box room into a room that feels and looks twice the size.”
