We had a fantastic Family Lifestyle shoot with Annie who combines charm and passion for her work with reassuring professional calm, immediately putting everyone at their ease. Her attention to detail and careful planning at a pre-shoot meeting meant everything went smoothly on the day, while leaving room for spontaneity in what was an enjoyable experience for us all. We were thrilled with the images which we were able to select with guidance but no pressure soon afterwards with Annie's assistant. The quality and finish of the final pictures is outstanding. We are delighted to have photographs which we will treasure for life and I highly recommend Annie as a family portrait photographer.
We were lucky enough to win one of Annie's 'Portraits in the Park' photo shoots last year. We had a father/son shoot and generally both feel a little conspicuous about having photos taken, especially with other people around in Richmond Park. However, with her warm, easy going style, Annie made us both feel relaxed and comfortable. It's easy to make a connection with Annie, something I feel is very important in these situations. As for the photos, they're taking pride of place in our living room. Received many positive comments on how natural we both look, that's down to Annie's professionalism, not our good looks!! Annie even went out of her way to replace one of the prints when I managed to scratch it during framing. Many thanks.

I have long been an admirer of Annie's pictures and recently had my headshot done with her. It's so difficult not to stiff when having this done, but Annie has a fantastic knack of relaxing you as soon as you start, which makes the session painless and also quick! She manages to find those perfect shots in very little time. I'm delighted with the results and have had very flattering comments where I have posted the picture on my social media pages. I would highly recommend her.

We had been meaning to get some professional pictures taken as a family but struggled to imagine myself posing for pictures, and i feared I might be hyper critical afterwards - and/or guilted into buying more picture than I wanted. Annie was a dream come true! She was great at making each of us feel relaxed and enjoy the experience - it felt like a family afternoon in the park - we all really liked it - and all really liked Annie. The process after was clear and well managed and some of the pictures were fabulous - a couple of them I imagine we will treasure for years. Annie took some pictures of me for a much needed new headshot for my work as an actress, writer and drama examiner, at the lovely setting of Warren House in Kingston, where we laughed and chatted in the perfectly lit porch, and before I knew it, she had created a realm of happy, shining shots. I was really impressed by the professional high standard of all the photos on her website, miraculously offset at a very reasonable price for the session. Annie was brilliant at making me feel at ease, and I really enjoyed my moments in front of the camera. Having heard lots of great things about Annie's photos and having seen quite a few of them, we decided to treat ourselves and our parents with some great photos. We had a "Portraits in the Park" session on a gorgeous summer day. Not only did we have great fun but the resulting photos are superb. They somehow manage to capture our individual personalities whilst still portraying each one of us at our best! We love them! We ordered lots of framed shots, albums, boasting books for grandparents! Annie herself has a knack of making everyone feel at ease - even our young teenage boy! I cannot recommend Annie highly enough!!
I was so delighted to spend half a day working with Annie. I was relaunching my business so wanted photography for my website and to use in blogs and articles. Being an image expert, my image is absolutely key. Annie was wonderful to work with, she really worked hard to get the best out of me and was endlessly patient with my editing requests. We bid for Annie's photo shoot at a fundraiser. Annie was very accommodating with our schedule and agreed to make the photo shoot at our home on the weekend. We were a bit anxious because of a negative experience we had previously, but have wanted to do proper family pictures for some time. The back-to-back experience from photo-shoot to delivery of picture frames and video was fantastic. The photo shoot was fun and relaxed. Our daughters loved Annie and we felt very comfortable. She was very generous with her time just to get the shoots the way we wanted. The whole process is very user friendly for busy families. We were able to view the pictures online, view the samples for frames and album at our home, and she personally delivered the frames. We were very happy to have done the shoot and the pictures. Annie Armitage is so talented and has an amazing creative eye. She managed to take the most amazing photos of our three children aged 2, 4 and 6, not an easy task! I would highly recommend her for family portraits.
Outstanding, professional and very versatile are the words I would use to describe Annie. I had thought we presented quite a challenge to a photographer, with 4 children ranging from 9-15 at least two of whom avoid being photographed at any cost, plus 7 pets of various species. Annie spent considerable time at a pre-shoot visit discussing our individual needs and ideas about the shoot. We opted for a Family Lifestyle session at home. On the day Annie far exceeded our expectations. She was calm, encouraging and engaged each of the children individually to produce timeless photographs we will treasure forever. A friend had recommended Annie to me and I would certainly do the same!
We had a lovely photo shoot with Annie in Kew. She really put us at ease and produced amazing shots that we will cherish forever. My husband is not the most used to having photos taken of him but she brought the best out of him. We highly recommend her services as the experience was lovely and the pictures were exceptional.

Annie found the inner light and wit of my aunt and diminished the less photogenic aspects of an older person. The photographs seem to be outside age and time.
It's a real tribute to Annie's craftsmanship and her wonderful interpersonal skills that her subject could relax and enjoy the attention rather than becoming self-conscious and fussing about her appearance.

Needing to update my headshots for my new business launch, I asked Annie for relaxed but formal shots for my website and social media. I arrived after a stressful journey and Annie immediately put me at my ease and got me smiling. Annie has a natural warmth and calm about her and I'm sure that is why she gets the best from her clients and creates the most wonderful pictures. Annie gave me a great selection of shots to choose from and it was hard to make the final decision I liked them all. I am absolutely delighted with my pictures and can thoroughly recommend Annie. It's a definite five stars from me.
