Air con in room wasn’t working but staff were very helpful to try and fix it; ended up with a portable unit. Service was excellent all round.

I stayed here with my husband and friends on a mystery tour and didn't have a clue where we were going or staying. The evening meal was beautiful, 3 courses, missed breakfast but heard it was ace. Would definitely stay again. Staff really friendly, rooms really clean and comfortable. A lite noisy during to the bad weather but ear plugs were provided free which was a great bonus.

Never stayed at a Holiday inn before and I am now converted. The hotel went above and beyond to make sure our stay was relaxed and enjoyable. Staff are so friendly, from reception to bar staff and waiters.

Had yet another very pleasant stay here with work.I really enjoy staying here,always a warm welcome.As usual Sue makes breakfast a great experience.Her cheery & excellent service make breakfast fun.Such a huge difference to some breakfasts in hotels! Don’t retire too soon Sue !

Great service and the staff were amazing. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were very professional and were there for everything I needed. The business centre was very quiet and comfortable and the connectivity was flawless.

Was in Preston with work and booked this hotel based on location. Booked a double bedded room at this hotel to arrive and be told that they only had twin bedded rooms left that consisted of 2 single beds. I said I wouldn’t be staying and the receptionist said she would charge me for the stay anyway. When I expressed my dissatisfaction she agreed to a refund as a “gesture of goodwill”. I left to find another hotel down the road where I got a comfortable double bedded room. Based on the fact they gave my room away and the receptionist tried to avoid dealing with the issue, I wouldn’t recommend or return.

Was a very pleasant trip, stayed for one night with family, was checked in early and recognised as a IHG member. Staff were all lovely and made you feel welcome. Will return in a heartbeat. Nothing to complain about

A hotel stay and experience is entirely determined by the thoughtfulness of its crew. Our stay here was lovely. The diligence and attention to detail of the staff is visible in every aspect of the hotel's hospitality, be it the front desk, housekeeping or restaurant. The entire team is highly committed and motivated to enhance guest experience. Adeel at the restaurant and bar deserves special mention in the kind of commitment demonstrated in enhancing guest experience. Adeel's conduct, demeanor and guest centricity made each dining experience wonderful. Dayan's cheerful hospitality has been exemplary. If there is one strength of this hotel that stands head and shoulders above all others is the commitment and sincerity of its amazing staff.

Parking limited outside hotel however £3 something to park overnight at the multi storey next door which felt safe and was clean.
I had a lovely welcome at reception which was good cos I was weary from driving. Given clear directions to the car park and checked in with no issue at all. Sorry whoever served me I didn't make a note of your name but your welcome was nice.
Room on floor 7 was bright. airy and clean. Bathroom clean but perhaps now very dated with a chipped bath. Room 707. But I was happy.
I walked into town for dinner which was ok but in the dark/winter others may feel a bit unsafe.
Breakfast at the hotel was good, relaxed and a nice dining room. I did not use the bar but it looked nice and I overheard other guests saying how well they were served there.
I awoke refreshed which is unusual for me to continue my journey north.

We were on a Tour up to the North 500 with Bluebird Coaches so we stopped here on the way up and way back down. On our way back we were stuck in a Traffic Jam on the M6 caused by a Milk Tanker overturning so we were nearly three hours late getting to the Hotel . The staff were terrific we managed to get our Evening meal and everyone was most helpful , happy and friendly. Nice breakfasts as well ,bed comfy and although facing a main road was quiet so we were not disturbed.

We were /are on a Justgoholiday for the weekend, which might I say couldn’t organise a piss up As for the hotel it is very nice, rooms are fine, Don’t like the pillows far to hard, as for the food what a load of rubbish we were served, glad it wasn’t just us who weren’t happy! Cold starter’s, main was disappointing the breaded fish was so hard it was a joke! Staff were fine no problems. But definitely need a new chef!!!

Nice cool room with great clean bathroom. Food was great especially the all you can eat breakfast hot and cold. Hotel is near to the town and most importantly a greggs so well done guys keep it up your amazing 👏

Two night stay with a group of ex colleagues over the last weekend really clean hotel with very helpful and friendly staff large comfy bed and immaculate bathroom could not want more the restaurant was clean and spacious and the breakfast had everything you could possibly want

Lovely quiet room with quality bed and bedding, fluffy towels and nice view. Lovely breakfast choices and good evening meal. Table service very good. We are looking forward to our return in a few days time

Booked a room for a last minute trip up north to visit family. Booked a standard room and was told there were only twins left on arrival.
I checked in at 10pm on a Thursday night and hadn't prepared for the parking being full. As a lone woman in preston I wasn't thrilled about the £4 parking that I was offered at the bus station but had little choice. The hotel parking spots are on the rooftop of the car park (floor 9) and the stairwell shuts at 10pm so I ended up having to walk down the car park ramps in the dark on my own. Slightly daunting but the walk accross from bus station was short. Just be prepared that you might have a little walk from parking so I would suggest to drop off bags beforehand. When I re-read the website it said parking is limited so just be aware that they're not lying 😄
Hotel itself is modern and well kept. Very clean and was impressed with the size of the room, even for a standard twin. As I was on my own, it was all I needed. Tea and coffee making facilities and bourbon biscuits (the BEST biscuits - if only I wasn't gluten free 😢) were good.
I noticed that pizza could be ordered even at 10.30pm so that would be great for travellers arriving late, like me.
I was on the 4th floor and it was easy to get to by lift or stairs (I did a bit of both) and all the staff I came across seemed friendly and welcoming.
Bathroom was nice and clean and shower curtain had poppers so that it could be removed and washed- all kept in really good condition. Dirty shower curtains are a bug bear of mine but it was all spotless in there.
Really impressed with the ease of access (other than the parking blip) and the quality and cleanliness of the hotel.
Would definitely return with husband or family! Thank you for a convenient and enjoyable stay.

We stayed in Preston in order for us to travel down to Liverpool for the night of the Eurovision final 2023. Very easy access to the motorway, pleasant rooms with comfortable beds, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

The hotel does have excellent staff at the reception and bar / restaurant. They all very customer focussed and extremely friendly. Specially Art Adeel and Max at the bar become friends. It was funny to have a barmanager having my name.

I stay in a lot of Holiday Inn's when away with work, and in general, they're usually pretty rubbish. A bit of an exception at Preston though. Nice modern room on the 6th floor. It was clean, which isn't always a given, sockets by the bed, decent room service menu, friendly welcome, and onsite parking. Probably the best H.I I've stayed at, where they've got the basics right, which is what lets a lot of other hotels down.

Before I arrived the staff shone. I called about 2 weeks before I arrived to see if I could change the room type. The lady on the phone was really helpful. She made a note on my booking and the room type was changed. Fantastic service!
The hotel is in a great location just next to the Bus Station. They have limited free onsite parking but if this is full you can buy a voucher for £4 for a spot in the bus station car park. I thought this was great value.
The room was comfortable, clean and quiet.
