Central location with limited on site parking (and payable car parking close by). For a city centre hotel soundproofing is great as heard very little traffic noise. Hotel has been recently refurbished, spacious reception and bar/ restaurant area decor is modern, fresh and pleasant and exceptionally clean. Reception and bar staff polite and welcoming, breakfast staff cheerful and helpful. Breakfast options good and tasted great.
Rooms and facilities are lovely, once again pristine clean with everything you need, towels really soft and fluffy, pillow options and if you’ve forgotten items such as toothpaste reception can provide them.
We had a problem with air con in our room which maintenance tried to fix for half an hour, in the end gave us a fan, in hindsight despite the late hour it would have been better to have moved rooms as was a really warm night and very little ventilation in the room. We spoke to the manager on checkout who apologised, compensated us and assured us they would investigate the problem further. Our complaint was handled politely and promptly which is great customer service. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Rooms and public areas appear to have been recently refurbished, everything nice and fresh; friendly staff, my IHG Platinum status was acknowledged and benefits received accordingly; breakfast was decent enough, added for £5 per person at check-in; free parking, overall good value for money for what we paid.

I came to Preston on a business trip and was due to stay for just 2 nights but when the project I was working was extended I had to stay a further 2 night's I had the option of moving to a different hotel but I decided not to.
I was really happy with my stay the breakfast buffet is excellent and so are the evening meals I had a different meal each night and all of them were equally delicious . The staff here are very friendly and helpful.
If I was to stay in Preston again I would definitely stay here again and I will be recommending the hotel to my colleagues.
