Whatever you might have thought about some wines before, prepare to be very pleasantly surprised!
Duncan Murray Wines is helping us all put to bed some long established 'myths' by opening our eyes and taste buds to some little known facts:
For example: "Lambrusco is fizzy nonsense from Italy and is only good for a tipple before a night out" - Really? - Think again!
The Concerto Lambrusco is the first in its area to have joined the elite list of Italy's most prestigious wines, and is considered one of the most brilliantly versatile wines for food. It has been produced by the fourth generation Medici family returning the reputation of Lambrusco to its former glory, which is a dry, full sparkling red wine, and has received the prestigious 'Tre Bicchieri' award of excellence for the last 8 years.
Want a taste? - Call in to the WUNDERBAR at Duncan Murray Wines this week and you can try a glass.
And what about Greek, Portuguese, and German Wines?
"Greek wine tastes all right on holiday but it doesn't travel well does it?" Really? Think again!
When you visit Duncan Murray Wines, you get an education as well as great attentive service - and then of course you'll have the chance to taste what you've just learned!
So why not come to Duncan's Free Wine Tastings in the shop on Saturdays (12 - 3pm (ish), or to the pop-up WUNDERBAR on Wed/Thu/Fri afternoons from 4pm - 9pm?
Then you can judge for yourself - Hit or Myth?
And for all things 'Wine, Beer and Spirits', why not sign up to Duncan's Weekly newsletters - full of up to date news, tastings and other events and a chance to look back at past issues!
