First time visiting and was not disappointed. What a lovely but emotional place. The grounds and memorials are very well looked after. There is alot to see. The site is very dog friendly and the staff made our doberman and dachshund very welcome! The staff in general were lovely and helpful. We will be returning in the summer ☀️ also very good for people with mobility issues. Nice flat paths.

Upon arrival your directed where to park and how to make a car parking payment-in the visitor centre. Free entry just pay for parking.
There was a lovely volunteer who greeted us on arrival and gave advice of what is available to do and where everything is.
There is a central memorial with names of the fallen soldiers up to present day, and on the grounds memorials of all the regiments, plus memorials to the fallen soldiers of Iraq and Afganistan. There was loads to see which we didnt see but you could spend a day here.
It is dog and family friendly (assistance dogs only to see the central memorial) wheelchair accessible to the memorials also. There are baby changing facilities and the restaurant has a range of food & drinks of great quality and price.
The volunteers and staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and lovely to chat to. We were advised when its been bad rain it floods in certain areas so best to visit when its cold or warmer weather.
It has a sensory play area for children, a chapel with services (we chatted to the bishop he was lovely) a visitor exhibition where you can record your own personal war experience aswell as other exhibits.
One of the best war exhibits ive been to and its local so will be returning again.

Such a beautiful place for a lovely stroll around the beautiful countryside and memorials.
Free to get in. Only have to pay for parking which is cheaper if you pay online before you arrive.
We even went over the river up to the quarry. Not a sole in sight. Lovely to see the wildlife.
All staff very friendly and helpful.
Nice restaurant, good quality food at reasonable prices.
We will be back in the summer to see it in all its glory.

I absolutely love this place. So peaceful and tranquil to walk around the grounds. Great for photos or to walk around and take in the beautiful sights and to remember all those who served and died and are still serving in the military today. Total respect for all

Absolutely stunning and extremely informative in a way that interests small children as well as us adults. We took a 3 year old and a 10 year old and our old dog for a look around, we did not expect this place to be the treasure that it is. It blew us away and i would 100% recommend visiting here. We were staying locally and decided to visit but i would say It is well worth travelling a long distance to visit as there is so much to see here and every single part is mesmerising whilst also paying respect to the fallen. A must see for every person!

A very moving experience, we visited during the Xmas lights, these are done so very tastefully, We definitely would recommend a visit, it allowed us to remember those we had lost, both recently and from the past.

Lovely place, peaceful & quiet with lots to see. Well maintained & manned busy staff who are very helpful. You'd need a good few hours to get round & see it all. Great cafe with really good food/choices, as well as hot drinks

Amazing place, watching it grow over the years. Walking around and seeing all the memorials, very thought provoking.

For me the Shot at Dawn memorial is most poignant...so many young lives takenby their own side simply because they were terrified. Nowadays this would be PTSD and support. :-(

Incredible evening visiting the Illuminations. Although the facilities described in the info were not spread throughout the grounds so there was a huge bottle neck at this point, which was very close to the end. This was the only downside.

Always enjoy a visit just to remember family who fought and were lost in conflict. Such a wonderful peaceful place and lovely facilities. My recent visit with my son and granddaughter was to the Guiding Lights show which was very good. Some clever interactive pieces delighted my granddaughter and the music was great. Well done!

Illuminations for Christmas were nice, but I’ve definitely been to better for the price.

Not enough choice of food outlets in my opinion, and although it has to be dark for the lights to look their best, the safety of the walkways in such darkness was questionable. Particularly for those vulnerable to falls.
