A reflective and relaxing day out. We went on the land train and thoroughly enjoyed the 45 minute trip around the grounds. The audio information was really interesting and enhanced the tour.
I can highly recommend this experience. There are lots of helpful volunteers .A must be day out.

Found this place online when looking at my travel gems to see. Didnโ€™t realise there was a memorial so beautiful and large in this country! Especially one so modern. I highly recommend going and the staff are very nice too. Lots of patriots in one place. Recommend going when itโ€™s sunny as everything really pops.

This is a varied and interesting place to visit. Good parking (book ahead) and access. Really extensive grounds covering a whole range of (mainly) military memorials and memories- and lots of trees.
It's a developing landscape but there's plenty to see.
Nice cafe too!

It's a very calming place to visit.
Have done the full walk around before taking me approx 5hrs, not in a rush..
Benches are available around the various areas.
Visited several times for the flypasts of aircraft for various events.
Food and beverages available at comparable prices with plenty of seating inside and out.
Staff are very helpful and can be seen in different areas.
There's a ' train ' which goes around , ideal for those with walking limitations.
Only a thought, parking now ยฃ8 per day, up from ยฃ6 last time I went.
I would prefer to see at least a two tier parking price e.g. short stay / long stay options.

Paid my first visit here today and I was mightily impressed. I went to see my Regiment's memorial and to leave a Cross in Remembrance of a few of my friends who lost their lives in action in Northern Ireland. I was happy to find the name of my friend Richard Rowe on the wall, we were Junior Leaders together almost 60 years ago. The whole site is kept in immaculate condition by the staff, many of whom are volunteers, and my experience was made so much more enjoyable thanks to Volunteer David, who is very knowledgeable gave us a guided tour by buggy to
remember. Thank you so much David. Absolutely fantastic place to visit for anyone thanks to so many hard working people
I will definitely be coming back soon. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™‚

Decided it was about time we visited as on our doorstep. What a beautiful place. Staff helpful and good cafe. Statues incredible . Pretty cold on the day especially at the top, but will be back when trees in leaf. Even found a couple of names who might be a relation. Can walk a lot or little train. It is free entry and can make a donation. Parking cheaper online.

Welcoming and informative staff/volunteers. Cafe has a great choice from a hot drink to excellent meals. The land train is well worth it to gain an overall understanding of the Aboretum.
