I came back to pay my respects to my late father whose regiment has a tree in their honour. So much to see and its free to get in. A must see attraction and you can spend hours just looking at the tributes to loads of services apart for the armed forces. Well done to all

I visited this after I heard of the memorial to those that fought at Cassino in WW11. What an amazing park well set out with interesting memorials to many countries. There was acknowledgment of all that made an effort to support during the world wars. It was well worth a visit.
If you go in the winter months it gets wet wear botts if you ant to walk on the grass.

My wife and I visited on a gloriously sunny, winters day and because we knew the site was large and spread out, we wore walking boots. This was fortuitous as the recent heavy rains had made some areas quite wet. We thought the large site well laid out, often beautiful, frequently moving and engaging. The staff we spoke to were helpful, knowledgable and their enthusiasm for sharing the place and its objectives was infectious. In the modern day I'm not sure all visitors will have the same reaction, but we need everyone to understand the historic chapters represented by the numerous memorials in this place. On a different note, my wife and I each enjoyed a cream tea which was both very nice and excellent value for money.

Not the best day for our 1st visit as it was raining but we enjoyed the time we spent there. Very emotional I found it hard to read about the " shot at dawn " part of the exhibition but found other parts up lifting. We will definitely return & spend more time there. We met a wonderful group of people of all ages who were part of a reenactment group , dressed in a variety of costumes of the era, they were full of fun even 90 + Arthur who was loving the attention the ladies gave him.
