I love this shop. The staff are so helpful and are never too busy to stop and demonstrate some weird and wonderful new gadget. Id definitely recommend going to see a demonstration, you get to see how the latest kitchen gizmo works and you get to try all the yummy food too! xx

The kitchen shop has to be the best shop in Lichfield, it has all the kitchen items you could ever want and more. I have shopped in this shop for many years and they never fail to impress me on their product knowledge and customer service. I have recently moved away from Lichfield and really miss being able to pop in, but always make a special visit to the shop when I am in the area. If anyone is in Lichfield that has not visited the shop, please do, you will not be disappointed!! Their demos are fab too!

I wanted to purchase a couple of items that appeared to be out of stock. The store called me and stated that they would order one of my items and that they had found the other item instore and would reserve it for me until my ordered item arrived. Today I received a call from the store and was told that they had not got the correct item instore after all and that they were not prepared to order it for me as they would have to place a minimum order with the manufacturer. How they dealt with this situation was another story - the person I spoke to was unapologetic until nearing the end of a 36 minute conversation, was basically saying that it was my fault that they had incorrectly said the item was instore & would be reserved for me. He was also not prepared to post out the ordered item now that it had arrived instore and not prepared to knock a small amount off the price as a gesture of good will. I tried to ask for a refund of the ordered item, saying I would purhase both items elsewhere, but I was told I would lose 20% of the cost. I wanted to give my business to a local store instead of ordering the items off the iinternet and I am very disappointed with the service regarding the item ordered and more importantly I am disappointed with the way the person I spoke to was very obstructive and not prepared to take responsibility for the error or do anything to help put the situation right. I asked to speak to the Manager but was told I would have to put my complaint in writing. I thought I would vote with this review and with my feet - I wont be using that store again.

Visited the shop as I was looking for advice and information on juicers and food processors. Jo, one of the staff members, could not have been more helpful and was so well informed about the products available. Such a refreshing change from stores where staff merely read info on the box to you! Will certainly return to buy products on the basis of this visit. Very impressed.

Fantastic service, lots of availability, staff were brilliant - very friendly and today we had a young man (Joe?) who helped and advised us on a Nespresso machine. He gave lots of advice - we even tried samples of coffee but did not push us to buy (we did purchase though!).
