It's good that they are available when your very is closed in the evening, but they do not have as experienced cats as in other places. I'd prefer them in times of emergencies only.

My extended family and I have been taking our animals to PHV for over 20 years. They have fantastic facilities, friendly and helpful vets nurses and staff. They have gone above and beyond to maintain the health of or animals when well, cure and ease the suffering when unwell and give a dignified anc compassionate ending when it has been time to say goodbye. We have used just about every service over the years and have always been treated with respect and care. They all do really care about the animals and show a real interest. We visited on Saturday evening (emergency visit which we called through first) after our puppy (a cavapoo) swallowed a sock! From the moment we arrived, staff were amazing. They reassured us, gave us all the options available and encouraged us to take our time to decide how best to proceed also recommended that if we were unsure, to seek independent advice before proceeding (from my vet friend who is mentioned during the visit). They tried everything to allow our pup to pass the sock before advising us on the invasive treatment options . Thankfully, after two injections and lots of food and cuddles, our pup vomited the sock out with no invasive intervention needed. Furthermore, we didn’t have to witness our furbaby experience any distress, he was absolutely fine when he came back out to us each time. They were also fantastic in allowing us to use our pet insurance to pay the balance. I cannot thank you enough for your warm, reassuring and professional service. Although it’s an accident I never want to think about again, what I will always remember is how amazing and caring you were. A million thank yous from Nugget and us

Excellent reception staff were amazing and so friendly and the vet was also amazing and was very reassuring and gave me all the options I also think pool house is amazing as it’s also an Emercency vets which I’d used previously with other pets but as my new puppies are with pool house vets in the first place if I ever need them in an Emercency they already have all there history right there in front of them which has got to be better
