Thank you to the emergency vet (young man) who treated the swollen eye for our nervous dog. He was very caring with her and so gentle and calming. He also treated us with great compassion as we were so worried. Exactly the sort of vet you need not these straight unemotional types!

As well as excellent veterinary care for my two cats, I am always treated well too. Today I had a huge panic when I had a puncture on the way to taking my cat for an operation. When I finally arrived (I was in a state!) I was looked after, given a coffee, the cat talked to and a taxi called to get me back to my car. Vet's phone call after the operation was detailed and reassuring. Thank you for your care.

Went to the Pool House Veterinary out of normal hours as an emergency when my dog started to lose the use of his back legs. He was seen promptly, and kept in overnight and the following day when his health deteriorated further an urgent referral appointment was booked for him at a specialist hospital. The cost was very reasonable considering the late hour he was taken, and the service received was first class. We were kept regularly updated on his progress despite the unsociable hours night and morning. Pleased to say the dog is now recovering well after emergency spinal surgery.
