Our family pets have been treated by the team at pool house for over 35 years now. In that time I've honestly only had two cross words with vets and one 'sharp' encounter with a receptionist. I probably had the vet run-in coming, and everyone on the reception desk can have a bad day.... I've heard and seen them have to deal with very difficult situations, while having abuse hurled at them. Having worked in the dog boarding sector for over 25 years; I KNOW that the first priority is the care of the animal....ALWAYS. Things go wrong sometimes, but those who have spent years training to become Vets, or Vet nurses do so for the love of animals..
Ive recently had to take 2 of my pets in, one of them as an emergency - and the staff could not have been kinder. Both are feeling much better now!
I know waiting in your car to get your turn is not the best, especially when you are worried about your pets, but it is done for EVERYONE'S safety so deal with it!
I love my pets , and would not trust anyone else to take care of them.

My cat Kitty was taken to Pool House vets by a good samaritan who found her when she got lost and injured.
The vet had the cat for 5 days before we got notification. In that time all they had done was give her antibiotics for her facial and paw wounds... No x-rays and clear not a thorough examination as we got two conflicting reports from two vets.
They were treating her as a stay even though she was chipped so didn't want to spend any money and time on her.
Pool House vets you should be ashamed of yourselves you lack of proper care for an animal that clearly needed care was disgraceful.
Also the attitude of your reception staff is also very poor mocking customers because they are made to stand out in the cold to wait for their pets.

The Best vets I've ever had the pleasure to use, After moving from another vets, Pool house have been amazing, going above and beyond to take care of our 2 dogs, Finneghan was sick just after lockdown and he is a little timid, but he was great so well looked after, he got well very quickly thanks to you all, And Rosie our pomchi she needed an operation on her leg which turned out to be more than we were told from our first vet, Jamie was totally amazing he sorted her perfectly, the staff kept us up to date with her progress and looked after her amazingly, she is getting better and better so quickly and walking like nothing had happened, So thank you Pool house you have an awesome team of talented professional staff who really care about the wellbeing of animals

I have been going to this practice since 1965 the service only gets better. Over the years it may have moved premises but the comiitment to its patients and their owners never falters.
