Our dog was taken poorly while we were away on Sunday, phoned & they took her in straight away<br>The service they offer from the updates to phone calls to the care of our dog was 100%<br>I couldn’t of asked for anymore<br>Thank you for all you have done for Stella over the last few days & sorry she snores so much ! You kept us calm throughout with all your updates & caring manner you all are fantastic & work so hard

I have been very impressed with the service I have received for Lola who had a nasty Pyometra in December. Alex, Jenny and Ian looked after Lola exceptionally well along with the nurses at the practice.<br>She has recently returned for post op bloods and results were reported by Alex within 16 hours of having been taken. I am very grateful to all at Pool House for all their impeccable care and attention. Thank you.

I use the place in Mere Green and had cause to take my Sheepadoodle here with digestive problems. They were fantastic and cleared the issue in about 5 days with special food and a probiotic powder and some pain killer tablets. They were friendly and very proficient.

My regular vet practice is Pool House at Armitage, and I have always found the staff there extremely helpful, professional and kind, but recently the emergency out-of-hours service they provide at their Vet hospital in Lichfield has far surpassed all my expectations! My Guide Dogs mum had given birth to her final litter of 7 Guide Dogs puppies nearly 3 weeks previously when she was very suddenly taken extremely ill with mastitis and septic shock. By the time I reached the hospital with her she was in a state of total collapse and I honestly thought she was dying before my eyes. Despite being busy, the on-call vets saw us immediately and kept her in for bloods and put her on IV fluids. Within a couple of hours, as soon as the diagnosis was confirmed by the bloods, she was put on IV antibiotics and pain relief. The vets communicated regularly with Guide Dogs and myself so we were kept very well informed, for which I remain so very grateful. She was so ill that she had to stay in the hospital for 8 days and nights, on IV antibiotics, opioides and ketamine, and with a feeding tube into her stomach. Once the tubes were removed and she was able to eat and take oral meds, she has been able to continue her care with Guide Dogs hospital wing, where she is recovering amazingly well. I can't praise the staff at the vet hospital enough, as they were simply remarkable, and fought so hard to save her life. I shall be eternally grateful.

Attended pool House veterinary hospital this morning with our poorly Boston Terrier, would just like to say thankyou so much to the lady vet whome treated Vinny, she treated Vinny with lots of care and respect and in a professional manner at all times, everything was explained to us clearly, thankyou also to the nurses, exceptional care throught, thanks to all of you for your help. I’m not sure of the ladies name who was on the phone tonight but she was extremely helpful! We had originally called an emergency vet closer to home regarding the issue with our dog and they just booked us without advising us so I phoned Pool House (our vet’s emergency vet) and the lady talked us through what we should do rather than just booking us in for an emergency appointment that was not necessary.<br>Thank you so much
