Absolutely stunning cathedral. We took an American visitor for a tour and it was much appreciated. Sadly, we timed our arrival to coincide with a service so we had to rush our visit a bit to get round, but we will be back! Lots to see here and hoping to join one of the tours they run next time to find out more.

You could spend hours there, reading all the memorial plaques dating back hundreds of years. We were lucky enough to be there when a choir of schoolchildren were performing

A very interesting Cathedral, the interior is a little dark. It has misery chords under the seats of the choir, but when I recently visited they were not on show. The Cathedral has several “Green Men” but not easy to find. However it does have a cat and mouse in the Chapter House.

Absolutely stunning, you help your self saying WOW!!! From outside to inside the cathedral is amazing and cant stop looking at its beauty, specially as its a medieval church and how old it is. Only problem i had is that I wish I had taken more photos but i was too overwhelmed.

Beautiful example of architecture from 1000-1100s which originally started from a saxon church which was built some 300 years previous.

I was hugely impressed by the three spire cathedral of Glastonbury. The west frontage is exceptional though the saints and kings which had been removed at the dissolution of the monasteries were replaced in Victorian times. There is a lot of wonderful stained glass. The volunteer helpers were very friendly. Definitely to be recommended.

This is a gorgeous cathedral, inside and out. I specifically wanted to see the "Lichfield Angel" - an amazing frieze that was fairly recently uncovered from underneath the floor - and spent a couple of hours just marveling at the architecture. I am sure others can take better photos than I can, but this is so worth the time. There are spires, gargoyles, relics of a saint... more than a millennium of history. The volunteers are very helpful and knowledgeable.
