Took the guided tour for £5 each. Good value for money. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The tour explains the history of the building and points out details that are very interesting but easily missable if you weren't told about them. Strongly recommend the tour and the beautiful building

Fascinating links with English history especially the civil war. Beautiful interior. The exhibition of ancient books in the Chapter House is well worth a visit. Entry is free but a contribution to expenses is requested. Café and toilets across the Close at South West end.

this is a stunning cathedral...entry is by donations but you don't need to donate anything if you don't wish too. The staff are very friendly about this, saying you dinged to donate if you didn't want to, and of course, we did donate but I loved the fact they weren't pushy at all and genuinely said we didn't need to and there was no pressure too. And it's such a beautiful cathedral you can't help but donate so they can have funds towards the upkeep.

I came to this beautiful cathedral for Elvis by Candlelight which my friend JD King was performing in I found the experience so magical and emotional. The staff were helpful and friendly, there was so much room for a good dance and the stage was a good height for all to see what was happening. I had the best time and would definitely come back.

Amazing place steeped of history. A visit is a must if you are visiting Lichfield. The only complaint and understand it's very costly for the up keep of the cathedral but the way they try to force you to pay donations. But please don't let that spoil a visit to this amazing and beautiful place
