We always enjoy a visit to Lichfield and revisited the cathedral once more. It is magnificent and there is always something new to see each time. Today the choir were practicing so this added another dimension to our visit. This is a real gem of a place and should reward all visitors who come here.

We visited the cathedral as we were in town, while worth taking the time to visit, as you walk through the doors it was a lovely surprise, beautiful windows and architecture.

Wonderful architecture. It’s all been said before. The 113 statues on the west side are splendid. The Flemish glass stained windows excellent. Well worth a visit .

Went there to watch the snowman show in Dec and not for praying as I’m Buddhist. I think they have Sunday church but they welcome visitors to visit.

Lovely cathedral to visit. Great history! Definitely worth visiting.

Not to be missed. One of the most beautiful cathedral I’ve ever seen. We arrived in time for evening song and the choir of the local high school was an added delight. The halls of the building are simply but very elegantly decorated in a manner that does not take away from the serenity and humility that the Cathedral evokes.

We visited here on the 2nd July, on entering a lady asked if we wanted to donate, which we did. Felt a little intimidated but we also bough some cards from her too. The cathedral inside and out is magnificent, and when we asked a gentleman who was working inside where the ancient carvings ect where he kindly walked with us a nd explained the history, showing us things im sure we would have missed. So my advice is ask if you find someone. There is so much to see we spent a couple of hours just enjoying the peace and atmoshere.

Loved the cathedral and the grounds were especially pleasant. I love the close, the cathedral school and the small cobbled street off it (Damm Street). Must go back with more time.
