Amazing Cathedral to visit, volunteers are friendly they are very knowledgeable as to the history of the Cathedral. Well worth a visit.

My wife and I, and two 8 year old boys went on the Cathedral tour that took us into the eaves of the cathedral and up into the spires. Apart from the view across Lichfield and Staffordshire being absolutely stunning the tour also gave a really interesting insight into not only the history of the Cathedral but also the English Civil War and further back in history. The guide made it fun and interesting so that it appealed range of ages, including 8 year olds who were gripped throughout. I'd certainly recommend booking this if you have the chance.

We visited while the local choir was practicing their sermon performance. The sound that ricochets from the walls is absolutely gorgeous!
The architecture is phenomenal and makes for gorgeous photography. Their are small glass cases and framed historic artefacts scattered around the main hall of the cathedral. Ranging from WW1 & 2 memorabilia to local historic artefacts.

Wow! What a beautiful place this is. We both loved our day out exploring this cathedral. The vaulted roof is just spectacular. Wonderful little gift shop as you leave and museum. Stay around for prayers it is very calming and peaceful.

Such a beautiful cathedral in our close by city, we are so lucky to have this building so near by. Well worth the visit and I have been many times, as Lichfield was my birth place.

It's a lovely city with plenty to see and do. It has a wide variety of shops and restaurants. You can visit the cathedral, sit by the Minster Pool and soak up the history all around you. However the District Council levied a street licence fee on traders at the festival market of £21, which in addition to the stall fee, lead to many traders not coming. Shame!
