Was out for a drive and came across this gem of a pub very friendly staff and a great location, we had roast chicken which was lush a must stop for anyone the loves good food.

It was a brilliant experience. All the staff were very helpful and efficient. The food was of a very high quality. The actual venue is a traditional pub which brought back memories of Titchmarsh almost 50 years ago.

Party of 7 friend for Sunday Roast. Great food, we had chicken roast with vegetables and potatoes. It was terrific.

The Wheatsheaf was a lovely place to go for lunch. The staff were all good natured and really seemed to care that everyone was happy and content with the food and the service. The food was definitely worth going for - my salmon fillet was cooked to perfection!

Very friendly pub. Clean and comfy with good chairs. Four of us had an excellent steak supper, very good quality meat cooked to perfection, crispy chips, nice veg's. Accommodated our special requests. Would have given it 5 stars, except service was slow, and plates lukewarm. If you are not in a hurry, would definitely recommend. We will visit again.

Good food, friendly staff and a decent range of beers, wines and soft drinks.<br><br>Car park fills quickly, though on-street parking nearby is fairly easy.<br><br>Very dog friendly with time to talk to Gnotti - and biscuits.
