Thundering along the A14 on a hot Saturday and in need of lunch so googled "beer garden" and within 5 mins we found ourselves at this tastefully modernised stone pub in a quaint nearby village. Pretty inside and out with heaps of books to read and amazing toilets. I had a long cool elderflower presse and the most perfectly seared tuna salad ever and my significant other had delicious chicken bruschetta. A delightful detour well worth making !

We held the wake for my husband here and it was perfect. Every thing went really smoothly from the booking and organisation of the food until we left at the end. We were really unsure of numbers but the staff were brilliant and just managed with whoever turned up. I can not thank all of the team enough. The food was also delicious.

We have visited this pub/restaurant on a few occasions and we absolutely love it. The staff and locals are really friendly to us and our dogs. We ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and were extremely happy with quality of the food and the service.

This is my favourite place for a Sunday Roast, the Cauliflower cheese is the best. The staff are very friendly and helpful. 5 stars for their service. Dogs are allowed too. They have a large car park. A huge beer garden.

Went there to celebrate Mother's day with my mama, my daughter and my brother 😊 I had the slow roasted lamb with trimmings...scrumptious 😋 and dessert too. Mustn't leave it so long until I return next time 👍🏽👍🏽

Wonderful lunch has just been had here en route to Norfolk.
The place is cosy, clean (spotless loos too, very important) and Gemma was down to earth and very welcoming.
Our little dog loved the biscuit treats on offer.
The menu is good and our food wasn't churned out in seconds which meant that a bit of care was going into its preparation.
The only down side is that we live so far away and can't visit as much as we'd like to. The locals are very lucky.

This place never disappoints seriously.
Gemma and the staff are so friendly & welcoming and the food served is literally 10/10 every time from the Sunday roast to the Burger- there’s even two of those to choose and as for the Fish n chips…. Well it’s better than the chippes
Highly recommend 👌

Set in an attractive village, this is a nice traditional style pub with a beer garden. We visited on a summers Sunday and it was very quiet.
