KCC Students have been selected to exhibit at the Origins Creative Arts Festival in London this month.
Kensington and Chelsea College (KCC) and the luxury watch brand Longines are collaborating to give Millinery students an opportunity to make a bespoke hat which will be featured at Royal Ascot.
Notting Hill Academy of Music has partnered with Kensington and Chelsea College to offer a new Level 4 course accredited by RSL called Music Business Entrepreneur, which starts in January 2019.
Kensington and Chelsea College has been rated best FE college in London for success rates for all levels between the ages 16-18. The college received an achievement rate of 79.7%, which is above the London average of 86.9%.
Students from the HND Fine Art course at Kensington and Chelsea College will be taking over 508 Kings Road Art Gallery in Chelsea to present their end-of-year show to art lovers from across the capital. Featuring a range of work including painting, sculpture, textiles and photography, the exhibition promises an exciting glimpse into the artistic practices of these emerging artists as they complete the equivalent of their second year of a BA degree.
Glassmaking students at Kensington and Chelsea College have been successful in the ‘Inspired by V&A’ awards. Three Glassmaking students were shortlisted in this year’s awards ceremony. Janine Greenberg won in the category ‘Glass and Stained Glass.’ Janine’s work Love, Light and Strength was inspired by BirdBath, a stained glass work by Judith Scheschter on display at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
