Amazing habitats, very well kept. Beautiful animals and it all goes towards a great cause. Plus it's perfect to spend a whole day as a family, with plenty to do and see

I don't normally endorse or like zoos but this is extremely well laid out and is totally geared around providing the right environment for the animals etc. Mainly enclosures rather than cages and very informative notices and staff on hand.Visited on

We stayed there for 6 hours. Wooded zoo and fit animals. I highly recommend visiting the zoo.
It is best to go there at the opening, as the animals are less hot. The butterfly greenhouse was very surprising.

Our trip to Jersey was centred around visiting this zoo as I love Gerald’s books and the representation of his life on the tv series The Durrells.
We allowed plenty of time for exploring and loved all the exhibits. We went in reverse and started in an aviary filled with exciting birds. We loved the open style enclosures and spent ages staring at the bats.
We ate at the restaurant, sharing a pizza and chips between two (hungry) adults. We sat outside where the team have done a good job to prevent local birds from begging or diving.
Overall the trip was marvellous, well worth it! Enjoyed the shop, and the large charity superstore found within the car park too.

A great place to explore animals and nature. A lot of thought has gone in to giving the animals and birds as near natural environment as possible. You really feel like the focus is on conservation and not how much money can we make from visitors.Visited on

I'm not a fan of zoos. I mean, nice enough to go once for an educational side of things for the kids, but in essence, it is a prison. Saying that, the enclosures were tidy and seemed appropriate. Plenty to see and do.

Hard to call this a zoo, its more a wildlife conservation. However, it's a lovely few hours out. Nice, clean and tidy and animals look well cared for. Shop was also nice.Wait time
