This place has some major changes though some areas could use a little tlc. The shop didn't have as much variety as previous visits but the addition of the charity shop was a good idea. Still enjoyed the visit but was saddened by the news of the death of 1 of their gorillas. Still a good place to introduce children to global wildlife

Brilliant zoo with very well kept animals. Lots of information about the Durell family. Make sure you make a note of the feeding times and visit each animal enclosure when these are on.

Beautiful surroundings and fascinating exhibition about Gerald Durrell. The keeper talk we heard was good. The only drawback is we couldn't see quite a lot of the animals due to the natural (ie thickly overgrown) environments they are kept in. I know, I know... but it is a zoo!

We haven't visited a zoo for many years.... simply not our thing, but a friend told us about Jersey. The zoo was fab. The staff giving the talks were great, particularly the tortoise 🐢 enclosure (Sam) and the Orangutan talk. Nice to see people so passionate about their roles

Nice little zoo. Quite hot so unfortunately kept some animals hidden. Loved the poison arrow frogs and the gentle Lemurs. Good gift shop.

Excellent zoo but not much animals to see. Really good to see the amount of conservation work the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust are involved in. Very good, large enclosures for all the animals.

Very interesting place to visit in a lovely location which easy to reach by bus. Good accessibility for the disabled but I would give yourself time to find where the keeper talks/ feeding events are taking place because signage could be better. If you want to hear the Orangutan talk you need to be on the peninsula between the two islands. It wasn't signposted from the path.

Large enclosures for the animals. Obvious TLC noticeable from staff for all the species they have in there.

Ok, for younger children. The bat and butterfly enclosures were very good. Shout out to the "Tortoise guy" who spent some time with us

Saw a couple of negative reviews, they are addressing the overgrown enclosures, we saw plenty of animals, not so many birds as some has complained about and to be honest, they are wild animals, they will be hard to see šŸ˜‚. We were happy with what we saw and the staff were really helpful and polite. Great day out.

Good place to spend a few hours. The talks were informative. The portion size of the food here is really good value for money.

We had a nice walk around the zoo, unfortunately and sadly the gorilla house was closed due to a bereavement and we couldnt get to the flamingos due to the path being repaired so this was a big disappointment, thankfully we saw some orangutans which went some way to saving the day but had we known before paying the entrance fee that you couldnt see two of the major attractions we would have visited at another time. Its a small zoo and the bus service was not the best, sharing the bus with school groups was extremely cramped, all in all a bit of a disappointing day.
