Fantastic zoo. Great range of animals to see. We spoke to volunteers and staff and all were happy to talk and give information. Displays have enough information but not too much that a child would get bored. Took around 5 hours to walk around everything with an 8 and 6 year old. There is a large charity shop on the site which is worth a visit too. We visited on a Friday during school holidays and wasn't too busy but would recommend pre booking to save some money. The gorillas are amazing to see

An amazing zoo, with animals aplenty. Loved the orangutans! Cafe is reasonably priced and clean. Bus services run at regular intervals, but they can get full quick on busy days.

Hübsch gemacht. Hat mich ein wenig an das Vivarium in Darmstadt erinnert. Etwa 2 h einplanen. Schöne Picknickplätze im Zoo vorhanden.

This is an amazing zoo, for one reason only 👍. You get a sense that the animals are very well looked after🙏. Their individual habitats really are tailor made for them, and the habitats are all so lush. The whole zoo is very lush and enjoyable to walk through. Some comments here suggest you can't see some of the animals very often, and I agree. However, we have to remind ourselves it's all about keeping them in a natural habitat as possible, and that sometimes means, the animals keep themselves out of sight of predators, us human beings 😰. Overall a great lovely zoo where the No1 priority is the welfare of the animals 👍👍. The staff are all excellent especially the volunteers wandering around answering visitors questions 👍👍. Plenty of toilets on the routes and very clean. Highly Recommend with 5stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I know this can be a challenge with any zoo, but a disproportionate number of the main animals were nowhere to be found. However, the orangutans saved the day - they were out in force, and were gorgeous and exciting. Also, the grounds of the zoo are really nice

My husband and I caught the bus to hellier bus station. From there we caught the number 13 bus, but there are other buses, but it depends on what bus gets there first when you look at the bus timetable. It is a lovely bus journey to get to the zoo. The zoo has its own WiFi where you can download the app for the map. The zoo has got so many endangered animals there where they are looked after really well. The history is Gerald Durrell story is very interesting. We arrived there at midday and we left at 4.20 pm where we caught the bus back to hellier bus station. Then from there caught another bus back to our accommodation using a bus transfer for both journeys.

It was alright, nothing special really, in fairness it was raining so the animals weren't going outside, I don't blame them!

Wonderful day out, got the no3 bus from the station, lots of things for the kids and adults, would happily recommend it as a place to go wheelchair friendly but if your going to the cafe and sit outside with food the seagulls are likely to hassle you

I think the price for the entry ticket is expansive. The restaurant/cafe is also expansive (no reason for such an expansive prices). The zoo is just less than normal. It is green but nothing special about it. I would say the way how they advertise for the Zoo in Jersey is quite misleading.
