Fantastic set up where the animals are in environments close to their natural habits, with lovely gardens, lakes and woodland. Particularly loved getting close to seeing the gorillas, orangutans, meerkats and flamingos. There is also a fine exhibition on the life of Gerald Durrell and a very good cafe. Well worth a visit.

It's not very nice and your conscience does bother you as regards animals in a zoo but these are retired, endangered, breeding programs to be re-populated or would be killed in the wild . It is also an education centre to make you aware of the importance of preservation and our need to protect our wildlife as we are on the road to extinction

I loved the fact that jersey zoo was so different to most, usually you see a zoo and think of just the enclosures with the animals but all I could think of was how beautiful all the flowers was and the bonus was getting to see the animals too.

Lots of species to discover, the work of the zoo to save wild is well explained and remarkable. The "re-creation" of wide spaces of vegetation of various geographical origins is also impressive, making the zoo very pleasant to wander around - and probably making the animals feel more at home!

Thought expensive but worth every penny. Regular talks by enthusiastic keepers. Animals are obviously well kept and well loved. Two on site cafes have nice reasonably priced food. As an aside, the biggest charity shop I've ever seen is on site across the car park. Easily accessible by bus or car. Recommended.

Sehr schöner Zoo. Es war auch sehr ruhig und entspannt. Kein Vergleich zu deutschen Zoos. Wir haben drei Stunden dort verbracht und hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Lovely zoo to go too! We didn’t have the children with us but went anyway. The tortoise tunnel was great and the butterfly enclosure. The animals were all really active when we went and it was lovely to see. Nice cakes and drinks in the cafe. The bus was really easy to get on and off. The stop is in the zoo so perfect for travelling.

We had a fantastic morning at Jersey Zoo. So much to see and do. I especially enjoyed learning more about Gerald Durrell and his passion and mission.

Every year we visit we come here , it's a lovely zoo. Unfortunately this year a lot of things were closed but still charged the full price. Beautiful zoo and all animals cared for in a lovely way.

I LOVE IT!
first of all, staffs are very friendly and helpful. A LOT of animals, they are also somehow very interactive! The map is clear and you see a lot of things along the line. I had such a good time !
