Absolutely beautiful and brilliant place to visit well worth going. Only caveat is that it's quite big and I had to sit down on a bench while my husband went further and took pictures for me. He is so kind.

Such a quality zoo on such a small island is remarkable. The wildlife are given decent sized enclosures with variety of entertainment.
The information boards are well presented and detailed.
Food in the cafe was delicious, fairly priced and well presented.
Bus from St Helier is every 30 minutes, tap on payment, very easy.
Grand day out.

If you love the idea of animal conservation this is the place to go. I visit every time I am on Jersey. Last time me and my grandsons went twice in one week. The highlight is the reptile house closely followed by the walk through aviary and the Capybaras. The cafe is reasonable and the ice creams delicious.

Went on a 'summer nights' day (open late) and it was during an extinction Lego exhibition trail which was really good, there were also musicians in certain spots, the atmosphere was lovely, and as it was a little later it was much cooler and more of the animals were out and about too.

Incroyable ! Des années que je viens à jersey et je n’avais jamais visiter le zoo. Quel enchantement, j’y retournerai avec plaisir lors de ma prochaine visite. Les soignants sont incroyables

Such a special place ❤️ Jersey Zoo is so much more than just a zoo. Beautiful grounds, incredibly well looked after animals and, most importantly, you can really feel how much care goes into conservation and animal welfare.

It’s peaceful, beautifully kept and somehow never feels overly commercial. You can easily spend hours wandering around and still not want to leave.

Definitely one of Jersey’s little treasures and a place I’m always happy to come back to. 🐒🌿❤️

Jersey Zoo is a nice place to visit if you have some free time and no other places planned. The zoo has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, with lots of greenery and open spaces. It is a pleasant place to walk around, enjoy nature, and spend some time outdoors. You can also have a small picnic and relax, especially when the weather is good.

However, during my visit, I didn’t get to see as many animals as I expected. Some areas were under maintenance, which may have affected the overall experience and the number of animals that were visible. Because of this, I felt there was not as much to explore as I had hoped.

I also think the ticket price is a little expensive considering the overall experience, especially when some areas are unavailable. If more sections were open and there were more animals to see, I think the price would feel more reasonable.

Overall, Jersey Zoo is still a nice and relaxing place to spend a few hours. I would recommend it if you enjoy nature, walking, and a peaceful environment, but I wouldn’t consider it a must-visit attraction.

This is a wonderful place. We really enjoyed the company of the capybaras, and I was very impressed by the Lego beasts, and the friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff. Beware the 13 bus from St Helier! It took us an hour to get to the zoo.

I’ve never really been a fan of zoos and Jersey Zoo hasn’t changed my opinion but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good zoo or an interesting place to visit. The orangutans were the highlight for me but other exhibits were well presented too.

Jersey Zoo was a wonderful experience. The zoo was peaceful, well-maintained, and full of interesting animals to see. I enjoyed walking around the different exhibits, watching the animals, taking photos, and learning about wildlife conservation. The staff were friendly and the whole visit was enjoyable and relaxing. I’d definitely recommend Jersey Zoo for a fun day out, especially for families and animal lovers.

Such a lovely zoo with a diverse range of animals in a relaxed yet still interactive and informative setting. I’ve seen many Zoo’s and this has to be one of the best. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely seeing all the animal. We had a drill whilst we were there which meant we didn't get to hear the talk on the orangutans. The drill itself was a bit of a disaster as no one seemed to know what to do including the staff.

Lovely visit!! The keepers are all so knowledgeable and kind, and the animals are clearly well looked after, with a massive focus on conservation. Was served by a lovely man at the ticket desk (I can't remember his name) but he told us a lot of helpful and interesting information about the animals.

Visited the zoo as a family of 4 with 2 children.
Before visiting we assumed that it would be the highlight of our holiday to Jersey due to the Durrell's high reputation for conservation work but sadly it did not live up to our expectations.
Price was very reasonable IMO for a family of 4 in comparison to lots of UK attractions. We were most excited for the gorillas but when we saw them they looked sad 😢
A lot of the other animals were difficult to spot and to be honest it felt like we mainly saw birds.
The café with soft play was a nice touch and provided a reprieve from the heat but the prices were very high.
We spent 4 hours there and that was including using the play parks and pitstop in the café.

I originally was going to rate as 2 stars but thought I'd give an extra star just incase the reason the animals couldn't be seen was due to the heat which is obviously beyond anyone's control

We visited during the week in summer. There are no large animals but there were a lot of unusual species which made it interesting. Worth a visit!
