This is a interesting place to visit and learn about wildlife there's plenty to see and great place to let the children run about in the park. Prices are about the same as any other zoo I have visited. I have used my membership card to get in to the UK zoos and got a discount price, but not sure if your UK one would work in jersey but it's worth a try. There's a couple of cafe around the zoo which are worth a try and of course there's a great gift shop as well.

What a special place! To see Gerald Durrell's dream being attended to passionately every day is wonderful.

A few things....the signage in the zoo is not good. Period. The map you get at the desk is even worse. To be frank, it feels like the organization is not up to par, and at times some of the staff is dismissive. Some are also fantastic, to be sure. However, the fact that there is this special place committed to animal and species preservation is wonderful! Definitely worth a visit and so easy to get to on one of several bus lines.

Enjoyed our visit. Lots of different animals in a fairly compact area. We came with a wheelchair and were able to get to all of enclosures. Favourite animals were the orangutans, lemurs and the tropical frogs. Lots of soft toys in the gift shop. Signposting was a bit vague. Good day out.

Spent a full day here and it was brilliant. The animal and conservation experience was outstanding and the staff were helpful and informative. A great day out. But go for the animals not the catering which, for us, was poor. Our lunchtime food choices from the Dodo cafe were very disappointing.

This is a brilliant visit for people who like animals and the efforts to preserve and reintroduce to the natural environments they come from. The grounds are really beautiful as well.

Schön hier - war vor Jahren noch viel beeindruckender - als Durrell noch lebte hätte es mehr Tiere zu sehen gegeben. Der Preis ist irreal hoch - man kann das nur unter Spende für den Artenschutz sehen.

So relaxing to spend time with the animals. New gorilla area is fantastic. Usually take my own food so can’t comment on cafe but generally everyone is happy to answer questions and I think the annual pass is great value. Great day out.

What an amazing day out. The work they are doing for the conservation of these wonderful animals is amazing. The new gorilla house is stunning. It's lovely and clean with great facilities and the gift shop is really reasonably priced just like the entry tickets. Lots of places to sit and eat a homemade picnic if you dont want to spend the extra on on-site food.
