What do you think of Ipswich Town Centre? What is is you like about it? What improvements would you like to see made?  Well now it is your chance to make your voice heard. A borough-wide retail and commercial leisure study of Ipswich is under way and town centre retailers are being asked to share their views.

The council hopes that the survey, which is being carried out by Strategic Perspectives LLP, will highlight what retailers think of their town centre, what they like and what they think could be improved. When complete, the results will be used to help formulate town centre policies in the Local Development Framework, the major future planning document for Ipswich.

The survey is open to all types and sizes of town centre business - whether large or small, independent or high street chains. All businesses in the town centre will receive an invitation to take part.

The survey is web based and is available on the Ipswich Borough website by visiting www.ipswich.gov.uk/tradersurvey. It went live yesterday (15th July) and will be available for three weeks.

Here at thebestofipswich we are delighted to hear of initiatives that are being made to improve what our town has to offer its' businesses, residents and visitors alike.

So if you are doing something fantastic for Ipswich please let us know so we can shout about it.
