The mid-point of the Ip-art festival sees Global Rhythm on Saturday in Christchurch Park, featuring a colourful and exciting celebration of worldwide culture. Enjoy live music, art and food from across the globe from noon to 8pm. On Sunday, the park welcomes the Indian Summer Mela (noon to 6pm). The Ipswich & Suffolk Indian Association presents six hours of South Asian culture – dance, songs, music, poetry, a market, Indian food village and Bollywood workshops. The Soane Street and Fonnereau Road entrances are most convenient for this Ip-art highlight. Both events are FREE Also on Saturday, the Big Top in the park has The Vaudevillian with Agent Burlieque (correct), the New Wolsey Theatre presents "Into The Woods", the Sir John Mills Theatre welcomes people to "Stuff In The Attic" and Ipswich Orchestral Society play their big Summer Concert at the Corn Exchange. Other Sunday highlights are Hands-On Family Art and Art Alfresco at Christchurch Mansion and Colourscape in the park.
