Hi, I'm Louise Yexley and together with my husband Keith, we run thebestofhitchin. We took this business on in April 2007 and we are thoroughly enjoying it. Keith started his career as an electrical engineering technician and I originally trained as a secretary. I worked at British Aerospace in Stevenage for 15 years undertaking a variety of different roles including community relations and internal communications. I then branched out into Human Resources and Employee Development having qualified in this area. Keiths career took him into sales and account management in the telecommunications market. We decided a few years back that we wanted to run our own business and came across thebestof. Keith had spent many years working in Hitchin and it is only 15-20 minutes from where we live so we took the plunge and bought the franchise!
We strongly believe that 'local business for local people' is key and that the range of multi-channel advertising and marketing solutions that thebestofhitchin offer are essential to businesses, especially in the current economic climate. One year on and our business is steadily growing. We have the good fortune to meet some fantastic business people and made many new friendships. There is an amazing amount of varied businesses in Hitchin and the surrounding areas and we have the pleasure of working with some of the best.
