Hitchin Forum isn't just about campaigning for improving Hitchin - for the last couple of years, there's been an official day to clear all the litter around the town and this year's is on Sunday 6 April 2014.
Most of us pick up our own litter (and sometimes other people's), but things get blown out of bins as well as being dropped carelessly. This is a day when we can al help make Hitchin even more attractive than usual.
In 2013, 120 volunteers went out clearing streets, parks, footpaths and nature reserves - and you can do it on a different day if you'd rather.
