Researcher(s) Needed
Do you have some time to spare and have a passion for research?
Rhythms of the World (ROTW) Music Festival in Hitchin are constantly looking to improve and therefore need to keep abreast of competitors’ activities and maintain our public profile. Working as part of the Communications Team, the Researcher or team of Researchers, will be responsible for producing research, covering a wide range of topics including, but not limited to:
· Other festivals – what makes ROTW different? Looking at prices, marketing, website, social media and performers etc.
· Awards - national, local and regional – which we could enter. These will include those in the music, charity and festivals sectors.
· Competitions – where we could hold ROTW competitions to promote the event e.g. free tickets, photos competition, children’s drawing comp. This will include local, national and regional media, websites etc.
· Advertising opportunities – what magazines, sites etc (free and paid for) are out there for us to advertise in/on? How much do they cost? When are the deadlines?
This research will lead to recommendations on how we can improve the ROTW strategy, approach and activities in the future.
This role can be undertaken on a job share basis.
