Could you run, jog or walk 5k to help keep your county's life-saving helicopter in the air?

If so, then the Herts Air Ambulance is calling on you to take part in the 'Rotor Run', a 5k fun run around Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage on Sunday 25 September. The event opens at 10am and the run starts from 11am.

Families can also choose to take part in the Rotor Roam, an easy walk around the lake and will have the unique opportunity of seeing the helicopter up close and meet the Air Crew!

In partnership with Fairlands Valley Spartans Running Club, the event is going from strength to strength, now in its third year. Last year it raised over £3,000 for this vital emergency service. The Charity is delighted to be linking up with Stevenage Borough Council again this year in conjunction with National Walk for Life Day.

Michelle de la Bertauche, Herts Air Ambulance Fundraising Manager, said: We are all really excited to be holding the thirdHerts Air Ambulance Rotor Run. We hope that we can build on last year’s success and even more runners will get involved in what is a fantastic way to support your county’s life-saving helicopter. Please join us this September and bring the family along for what will be a really fun day out! Thank you to everyone who has made this event possible, including Fairlands Valley Spartans and Stevenage Borough Council for kindly supporting the event.”

Register now by visiting HertsAirAmbulance.uk.com or call 0845 504 0055, entry is £10 per person for the Rotor Run (£7 for running club members) and £5 for 1 adult and up to 3 children for the Rotor Roam. All runners will receive a t-shirt and goody bag.
