Is Hitchin a Transition Town? I am reading the current issue of Hitchin Forums newsletter of which we are a member. It's actually really good reading, loads of information and obviously run by people who really care about what goes on in Hitchin. One article talks about reducing carbon dioxide emissions to mitigate the effects of climate change and peak oil. You can find out a bit more about Transition Towns by clicking on the link.
