Lots of people in Hitchin and Letchworth won't event know that there is a great restaurant run by the catering students at North Hertfordshire College on the top floor of the Centre for the Arts on Willian Road (near the traffic lights).
It's been there for a few years now and offers lunch dining to the public (11.30-1.30 Tuesday to Friday) and themed evenings on selected Thursday evenings throughout the year.
We've been quite a few times and the food is amazing. As part of their course, the students have to learn all aspects of catering, not just cooking!
The next themed evening is on Thursday 1st March and is Portuguese. The restaurant have agreed a discount for people who book quoting thebestofhitchin of £15 per person rather than £18.50 for a 3 course meal.
